Fall 2026 - Touchdown 4 Tots

Touchdown for Tots Program Description

Empowering the Next Generation of Athletes

Get ready to score some fun while building foundational skills with our Touchdown for Tots program! This fun, high-energy introduction to Flag Football is designed specifically for preschool-aged athletes.

We focus on movement, coordination, teamwork, and confidence-building in a safe, encouraging environment—no prior experience needed.

The Touchdown for Tots program is designed for children in Pre-K and Young 5’s (ages 3–5). We strongly recommend this program for first-year players ages 4–5 before transitioning into our full league experience.

Program Highlights

Fundamentals First

Players learn running, catching, throwing, and flag pulling through fun, engaging drills.

Mini Games

Age-appropriate games at the end of each session help players apply what they’ve learned.

Skill Stations

Rotating stations every 10–12 minutes keep players active, focused, and excited.

Team Time

Small groups led by supportive coaches to build confidence, friendships, and connection.

Weekly Themes

Fun themes like Touchdown Dance Week, Jersey Day, and more keep the energy high.

End-of-Season Celebration

Every player finishes the season with a championship ring to celebrate their success.

Routes and introduction to simple plays

Mini scrimmages and championship ring ceremony

Season Dates

Season: Begins the weekend of September 25–27

Final Week: Weekend of October 23–25 (4-week program)

Weather Make-Up Dates:

October 30–November 1

Parent-Led Program Structure

Touchdown for Tots is designed as a parent and volunteer-supported program, with full structure and guidance provided by Just Compete Sports.

To ensure a safe and successful experience, we require a minimum of:

2 parent volunteers for every 10 participants

Parent volunteers receive:

Simple weekly practice plans
Clear instructions for drills and activities
Ongoing support from staff

This approach builds community while making it easy for families to be part of their child’s experience.

COMMUNICATION

Preseason: Beginning approximately one month before the season, families will receive weekly emails with important information including field expectations, rules, equipment reminders, Meet & Greet details, and team updates.
In-Season: Families will receive weekly emails with schedule reminders, weather updates, field updates, and league announcements.
Additional: Families may also receive a monthly Just Compete Sports newsletter.
